What you been doing in these spring months?

Just been chillin. Started digging some trails right by my house, nothing specail just something to ride.
How was the recent trip to Oz?
The trip to OZ was amazing. spent 2 weeks over there, rode a ton, went surfing, chilled, cant really ask for more.
Who was that Oz local josh character that was biting your style on the ride uk site?
Haha, i dont know, i havent seen it.-Geoff had a pic on the Ride uk site, and he was mistakenly labeled”local Josh”.

Whats the story with the foot support in the shoe?
I broke my foot a while back and the insert gives the arch of my foot support.
Are you an internet junkie?
Na, not really. i get stuck on it from time to time but not usually.

Yahoo, myspace, thats about it.
How often do you change your myspace profile pic?
Whenever i come across a good pic.
Favourite snack?
Sourdough pretzels.

What was the first famous trail spot you visited, how was that?
nam. it was a hell of an experience. the jumps were amazing. it was completely new to me cause i had never riddin a set of trails like that. i think i was 14, and my ride had left so i was waiting on my buddy to come later. i ended up getting a flat tyre and just sitting around for like an hour or so stressing about if my buddy was gonna show up or not. i didnt know any of the locals, and the one guy murph goes, you got a ride home? i said yeah i think he’s still coming out. he goes well if he doesnt, your coming home with me and im drinking like a fish tonight.
i didnt know what it meant until i asked my friend on the way home. it was a hell of a first impression for the locals at Bethlehem.

Garret, BF, Van, Aitken, Chase Hawk.

You used to live in the uk, how did you end up moving to california?
When i was younger my old man got a job out here, and got my family green cards. Was really doing nothing out there but riding, and the weather is shitty so often that it got to the point where i figured i would move back out here were i knew i could ride more often.
Where did you used to ride when you lived here?
When i was younger i rode at the jumps in crowthorn, sidley, and hawly, When i was a little older i rode Farnborough park, Pirbright trails, and here and there at epsom, chertsy, and wisley.
Do you prefer cali to the uk?
Prefer the weather and parks out here, but prefer the trail scene out there(uk).

Posers, Full of people who only care about money and material things, Traffic, You have to drive every where out here, MMA wanabes.
Whats the first thing you think of in the morning?
Where am I going to ride.
Whats the last thing you think of at night?
How good of a day I had.
What you been doing in these winter months?
Just riding really, the weather is good here year round.
Are you an internet junkie?
Not really, ill have a quick browse to see whats going on.

Fit bike co’s Marv is nothing to do with us officially, well he lives in the same town as me ,so i guess we are some what connected, anyway who cares heres some top 5’s from the Marv.

1998-where was ya?
Living in Newbury hanging out down the jumps and the skatepark, drinking and learning barspins. Pretty much a nerd at this point and had only been riding about a year, our Newbury riding crew was really strong and everyone loved riding jumps. Pretty much loving life to the max!

Winter here in Austin is the best. Its finally not boiling hot. Been riding and playing music.

I’m off the myspace and have been for a good while now. That was a time waster. I have a Facebook, but I don’t understand how to use it.

Head First.
What was the last bmx film you watched,how was it?
I just re-watched the 50/50 video. It was really good and gets me excited to ride… and unfortunately that seems few and far between with BMX videos lately.
What was the last bike part you payed for?
The only bike part Odyssey doesn’t make is chains so I have to buy those. I bought a $80 seat for my road bike the other day too.

What was the last trick you learned?
toothpick stalls! I could never do that till recently.
What is a trick you wanted to learn but still havent?
I always wanted to learn 360 downside whips. I’ve come close, but never got them to work the way I want.
Did you ever imagine you would’nt be riding a t-1?
Not a while ago I guess, but eventually it started to become clear it was time to move on. Although, I imagined the reason I wouldn’t ride a T-1 was because we went out of business, not because I left the company.

How is it with Giant?
Its really fun. They are letting me invent my own program and that is cool. I just only do events that are fun and get to have lots of cool bikes.
Is there anything you wish would disappear from bmx?
Crappy cookie cutter riding TV contests… I wish the TV stuff was a little bit more like what I enjoy about BMX. But, whatever… different strokes for different weirdos.
Is there anything you think needs to make a come back in bmx?
Helmets I guess. I think its time again.
