Winter here in Austin is the best. Its finally not boiling hot. Been riding and playing music.

No, not really.

I’m off the myspace and have been for a good while now. That was a time waster. I have a Facebook, but I don’t understand how to use it.

Homemade fresh salsa.
The first bmx film you saw was?
Head First.
What was the last bmx film you watched,how was it?
I just re-watched the 50/50 video. It was really good and gets me excited to ride… and unfortunately that seems few and far between with BMX videos lately.
What was the last bike part you payed for?
The only bike part Odyssey doesn’t make is chains so I have to buy those. I bought a $80 seat for my road bike the other day too.

What was the last trick you learned?
toothpick stalls! I could never do that till recently.
What is a trick you wanted to learn but still havent?
I always wanted to learn 360 downside whips. I’ve come close, but never got them to work the way I want.
Did you ever imagine you would’nt be riding a t-1?
Not a while ago I guess, but eventually it started to become clear it was time to move on. Although, I imagined the reason I wouldn’t ride a T-1 was because we went out of business, not because I left the company.

How is it with Giant?
Its really fun. They are letting me invent my own program and that is cool. I just only do events that are fun and get to have lots of cool bikes.
Is there anything you wish would disappear from bmx?
Crappy cookie cutter riding TV contests… I wish the TV stuff was a little bit more like what I enjoy about BMX. But, whatever… different strokes for different weirdos.
Is there anything you think needs to make a come back in bmx?
Helmets I guess. I think its time again.

Place of residence?
South Pole? Nah, Still Pittsburgh.
The first thing you think of in the morning?
Breakfast. Do we have eggs?
The last thing you think of at night?
Can my girl and dog take up any more room? This bed isn’t big enough anymore.
What you been doing in these winter months?
It went from Fall to Winter overnight, I’m still adjusting. I’ve been so lazy lately. Been riding a little, too much time on the internet, not enough time digging, plan to do some snowboard missions, and hopefully take some trips to warmer climates this winter with and without the bike.

England was the best trip of this year for me. We got to spend a good amount of time there. It was nice to get the feel of a town instead of just doing a hit and run. I learned how to drive all over again as well.

RAD.
What was the last bmx film you watched,how was it?
Believe it or not, it was “Wide Awake Nightmare”. I was feeling nostalgic and wanted to watch something I hadn’t seen in a while. I came to the conclusion that the old Square One team was the best assembly of friends/riders ever.
The last thing you put on your bike was?
A bar end that popped out a while ago. I was riding without a bar end for a month and was hella scared.
What was the last bike part you payed for?
Tubes.
You’re average weekend consists of…Riding, Digging, Penguins hockey game perhaps, movies with the lady.

I don’t know. I’m on a constant cycle of loosing tricks and then re-learning them a few years later.
What is a trick you wanted to learn but still havent?
I’m gonna learn flairs this winter I swear. That trick looks fun.

I think it was Dave Clymer from an old BMX Plus. He was doing a fakie in a full pipe, his hair was dyed green and his shins were bleeding. It was punk.

Been on a bunch of trips riding bikes and having a good time.

Probably ride to glory. Good people, good spots and good weather.

Trips are always good even when its bad, it’s all an eexperience If i had to pick one though it would be Spain, just because i was sick at the start then took it to my ribs the first day i felt well enough to ride.

What you been doing in these summer months?
I’ve been riding a lot lately. Mostly the trails in PA. When I”m home in NH work takes up a lot of my time, but I still ride just about every day.
What goes on with credence bikes?
Credence is a small company I run that consists of all my friends that ride.
Are you an internet junkie?
I wouldn’t say so. I haven’t been on a computer in over a week.

It depend if I’m at home or on the road. If I’m home it’s mods in the AM and riding in the PM. But if I’m on the road it’s riding in the AM and chilling with my friends in the PM.

The trails behind my house.

The trails in PA.
What 5 riders have influenced your riding in the last 5 years?
That’s hard to say because you get a little bit from every buddy, but the major ones would be Brian Yeagle,Nutter, Derrick Girrard, Brian Hunt, and Matty Aquizap.
What 5 riders influenced you when you started?
The older kids who lived down the street that had sweet trails.

Where do you feel you fit into the lawn mower legacy?
I’m not sure how to answer this, but I first saw Derrick Girrard do one and thought it looked awesome.Then I learned them on ramps and finally stepped it up to some decent sized sub boxes. AS far as legacy goes,I think I just dusted off an old move that the younger generation hadn’t really saw too much of.
What was the last trick you learned?
nac nac seat grabs.
What is a trick you wanted to learn but still havent?
oppo spins are scary
Favourite wrestler?
The hulkster!
Is there anything you wish would disappear from bmx?
Drama, and trails getting torn down for BS reasons.
